We understand that joining an Alpine Ski Racing Club can be expensive. To help ensure that every child with a passion for Alpine Ski Racing has the opportunity to play, compiled a couple third party programs available to families who may need a little extra support.

KidSport Canada has a Vision where all children have the opportunity to participate in sport. There Mission supports children who need financial assistance with sport registration fees and equipment costs. They believe that the power of sport participation promotes the development of children’s social, mental and physical well being. Through increasing access to quality sport programs, KidSport strengthens communities across Canada.

Since 1993, KidSport has helped over 965,000 kids across Canada get into the game with more than $92 million in registration fees and equipment costs. The reality is that cost keeps 1 in 3 Canadian children out of sport. Together, with our network of local chapters, KidSport Canada is helping families overcome financial barriers, So ALL Kids Can Play!

Jumpstart

Founded in 2005, Jumpstart helps kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities. Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. We’re committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more.

Jumpstart is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out. Jumpstart Mission is to enrich the lives of kids in need through sport and physical activity. There Vision is a Canada, where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams.
